As such, two generations of crossing has resulted in a high degree of hybrid vigour in the Champion plantation. This has provided for dynamic trees with excellent attributes known as Plus Trees.
It is the seed from the ”Champion” Plus Trees that Wescorp can now supply to the general public. Growth trials of this seed have seen excellent germination and growth rates. The seeds are large in size which also can be beneficial for those establishing plantations with a nut crop in mind.
