Vanessa Pereira
Corporate Administration
Vanessa joined the Wescorp Group in November 1999 and has been involved in several facets of the business, including management and day-to-day administrative operations.
Vanessa commenced with Wescorp working directly with the Executive Chairman as the Personal Assistant. This role also encompassed office management and payroll for the Group.
Vanessa managed the New Mountain Sandalwood operation for 4 years. This was an exciting and challenging role that focused on building the company’s brand name, and reinventing the presentation and quality of the product range. During the 4 years Vanessa and the NMS team geared the products towards the major national retailers, using market intelligence obtained from advertising, retailer feedback and customer liaison.
Understanding the valuable properties of sandalwood saw the expansion of the product range to reach a wider market.
Vanessa is now responsible for corporate administration for the Executive Chairman and maintains Wescorp Sandalwood’s ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:1996 system. She coordinates the ISO activities and is currently involved in the upgrade of the current ISO system.
Vanessa graduated from UWA in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She currently works on a part-time basis with the Wescorp Group.
