Manager – New Mountain Sandalwood Pty Ltd
Winnie Harper enjoyed a long and successful career in her family business which focused primarily on growing and exporting vegetables on the family land. Years of experience in this trade saw her easily progress into a new career as Exports Coordinator with Wescorp Fruit & Vegetables International Pty Ltd in 2001, a position which Winnie retained for 2 years before the company was sold in late 2002.
In 2006, an opportunity arose for Winnie to rejoin the Wescorp Group as Marketeer for New Mountain Sandalwood. This role encompassed processing the sales of sandalwood products to the retail market, customer liaison and identifying marketing opportunities at a national level. Winnie was able to utilise the marketing skills she developed in the fruit and vegetable industry to embrace this role and further her knowledge about sandalwood and its properties.
2009 saw an opportunity for Winnie to take on the position of Manager of New Mountain Sandalwood. The experience Winnie gained in the marketing position has facilitated a smooth transition into the managerial role.
Winnie is very proud of the sandalwood products and its popularity within Australia which has significantly grown over the years. Winnie has no doubt that with the help of the team the company will continue to grow and expand.
